When founder Ben Schaap started in the potato business there wasn’t any collaboration. Farmers grew a potato variety and waited till someone showed up who wanted to buy them. When we started processing the potatoes ourselves we started working with the farmers more and more. This has developed into a collaboration consisting of;

• Variety choice
  To be able to produce the best fitting and tastiest potato for every preparation method
• Storage
  By paying out storage fees and quality premiums so that we can provide the best potatoes all year long.
• Logistics
  Working together on harvesting and loading to make sure that the potatoes get damaged as little as possible
• Yield
  With special contracts we support each other in the good and bad years.
• Support
  Our growers are very capable, but whenever they need help we have specialists to support them in any way possible.
